Pollution control – VALGO: soil treatment by thermal desorption

Specialized in soil remediation and revitalization of industrial wastelands, VALGO will present a new technique of soil remediation by thermal desorption that used on various sites at the congress-exhibition Intersol (27-29 March, Paris).

“The thermal desorption treatment creates the thermodynamic conditions favorable to the volatilization of the pollutant. Once in the form of steam, this pollutant is collected by a conventional wind network, adapted to high temperatures“, explains the company.

Depending on the pollutants and the configuration of the work areas, VALGO develops several thermal desorption technologies in situ or stack on site, with current heaters, electric heaters or gas burners.
